Seen on the Streets of Culver CIty: Old-time Police Car

I spotted this old-timey "Culver City Police" car on the streets of Culver City at around Christmas, but I hadn't had a chance to post it until now. If I recall correctly, it's a car that often shows up at the Annual Car Show (like the one this Saturday).

The car is clearly a fun reproduction, complete with fake bullet holes and the motto "Screenland U.S.A." Anyone have a clue about it's origin?

Scupine,

The owner and restorer is Steve Newton, retired Culver City employee.  Steve is the president of Screenland A's - a local Model-A club as well as a member of the Culver City Historical Society.

Regards, Charles Deen
