Wheel House Cheese Shop -- featuring more than 100 cheeses from around the world -- is now open in West Washington district of Culver City, adjacent to Pitfire Pizza. In addition to cheese, the shop offers cured meats and charcuterie, crackers, jams, olives, pickles, breads, chocolate, and more. Later, they plan to offer a selection of wines and beers from around the world. Yelp ratings are very good overall, with this review from Manya F. summing up the general feeling: 

What a lovely neighborhood place. Friendly and knowledgable staff with high quality products. There seemed to be a cheese for every occasion and plenty of samples to taste the goods. The sales staff are experts and were able to find me exactly what I was looking for. They know the products inside and out and it shows! The space is open and inviting and lends itself to a pleasurable cheese buying experience. This place seems to be one of a handful of speciality shops opening up on Washington. The neighborhood is definitely getting nicer, with Wheel House as an example of that. Super fun, can't wait to go back and get more goodies!
