The Online Community for Culver City – The New Scene
The Culver City division of Senior & Social Services will host a seminar entitled "Retiring the Keys: When Should You or A Loved One Stop Driving," this Saturday, March 16th, from 10:00 to 11:30, at the Veterans Memorial Building Rotunda Room.
Speakers and resources will provide tools to help have this conversation with your parents or yourself.
The seminar will include input from:
California Highway Patrol—Age Well, Drive Smart Program,
Ellen Silverman, Occupational Therapist—Driving Safety: The Big Question,
Culver City Bus and Dial-a-Ride services,
Metro,
Access Paratransit,
AAA—Culver City Branch,
AARP CarFit & driver safety programs,
TLC Senior Helpers, and
ITN volunteer drivers Greater LA.
The program is part two of the three part Community Conversations series.
The Veterans Memorial Building is located at 4117 Overland Ave.
