The Online Community for Culver City – The New Scene
Every other Friday, I post a picture of something in Culver City that is 'hiding in plain sight.' Two weeks ago I asked: Do you know where in Culver City this life-sized doll is?
Culver CIty Times members Kevin Lachoff and Chris Grossman both correctly identified the uber-sexy Princess Leia as standing in the window of Dreamworld Comics on the southwest corner of Washington Blvd. and Centinella Ave. Kevin even waxed poetic: "She spends all day watching for price fluctuations at the Arco station, and I think she secretly posts them to Gas Buddy when no one's watching. Spiderman keeps lurking nearby - I think he has a crush on her. Someday hopefully she'll have a "Market Hall" to stare out at, until then, she can "dream" about it..."
