The Online Community for Culver City – The New Scene
Every other friday, I'll post a picture of something in Culver City that is 'hiding in plain sight.'
This time, the question is: Do you know where in Culver CIty this structure is? If you know, enter your response in the comments box of this post! I'll reveal the answer in two Fridays, when I post a new game.
Last time, I posted these snowflakes:
I am delighted to report that Game 032 set a record for most responses, including two responses as comments below, one as a private message to me (thanks, Steve Herbert!) and many, many more on the Culver City Times Facebook page. Congratulations to Chris Grossman, who was the first to respond in the page's comments section.
It seems that Culver Ice Arena and its iconic sign are one of Culver City's most beloved and recognizable landmarks. The flood of responses is in sharp contrast to the wek before, when I had pulled out just one detail on the sign: folks just hadn't noticed that snowflake at the bottom of the sign, I guess.
Here's the whole sign in all it's glory.
