The Online Community for Culver City – The New Scene
The 2nd Annual Culver City 5K/10K Run, will take place on Father's Day Sunday, June 15. The race, starting and ending in downtown Culver City, will benefit both Train 4 Autism and the Culver City Education Foundation to support students with special needs and is a City-sponsored event.
The 5K and 10K runs will be followed by free 1K and 1 mile Kids Runs, which will take place on the same course. Runners and walkers of all levels are encouraged to participate. Each finisher will receive a medal and a t-shirt. Overall winners will also receive unique awards created by students with special needs. Also, bring the little ones and enjoy a free Fitness Expo and Family Fun Zone, beginning at 7 AM in Media Park.
The Culver City Run takes place on Culver and Washington Boulevards from Main Street to Center Street (just before Sepulveda Boulevard) and back.
Please note that the following streets will be closed to all vehicular traffic from 5 AM – 12 NOON to ensure the safety of all race participants:
