Best of 2011: Story of the Year: Good Samaritan Pays For 50-Person Shopping Spree at Culver City Toys R Us

A woman identified as "petite and stylish, in her 50s, wearing a skirt and a beret" walked into the Toys R Us in Culver City and paid for about 50 people's purchases. According to reports, the woman, who would identify herself by name, had one Amex card, and she encouraged people to back and forth between two lines swiping and signing

“People were excited and crying," said bystander Laura Yoo.
