LA Eater is reporting that Café Vida -- a Pacific Palisades eatery that offers low fat, healthy California and Latin dishes -- is coming to downtown Culver City. According to the website, the restaurant will move in to the west of Saint Amour by the end of 2012. [UPDATE: Culver City Times member Kevin Lachoff reports that the restaurant will be located in the storefront between City Tavern and the Kirk Douglas Theatre (presently being renovated).]
HERE's a look at Cafe Vida's menu, which offers dishes like an Egg White Veggie Scramble, a Tex-Mex Grilled Chicken Salad, a Garden Avocado & Jack Cheese Sandwich, an Organic Brown Rice and Bean Burrito, and Grilled Fish Tacos.
Cafe Vida gets almost all 4- and 5-star reviews on Yelp, with one person commenting, "My fiance and I are obsessed with this place....They have amazing fresh juices and iced teas, tons of healthy meal options, everything is fresh, and the service is always incredible."

Cafe Vida will be in the storefront between City Tavern and the Kirk Douglas Theatre (presently being renovated). Sounds good - Looking forward to trying them out.
