Catch Josh Agle's New Work at Corey Helford Gallery in Culver City
Josh Agle's new show, “Animal Kingdom,” opens at Corey Helford Gallery in Culver City this Saturday, February 11th. The opening reception is from 7 pm to 10 pm, and, as always, the public is welcome.
Josh Agle is an American artist, better known by the nickname Shag. Said Roberta Smith in a review in the New York Times in 2002, "Ultimately, the eye is snared by Mr. Agle's economic use of saturated colors -- sharp greens and warm lavenders, smoldering reds, sour ochers -- and the tinted-gel space created by his thin-on-thin paint handling."
The show runs until February 29. Corey Helford Gallery is located at 8522 Washington Blvd.
