Tito’s Tacos and the Culver City Public Works Department will join forces to celebrate Arbor Day 2014 with a tree planting ceremony outside of the award-winning Mexican food restaurant, tomorrow morning, April 23, from 8 am to 9 am.
The Arbor Day tree will be planted to replace a recently removed and unhealthy tree in the public right-of-way sidewalk area, next to Tito’s. The tree has been personally selected by Culver City Public Works Arborist David Talavera, in adherence to the municipality’s street tree master plan.
Tito’s Tacos and Copenhagen Pastries will provide complementary food and beverages at the event. And two descendents of Arbor Day founder J. Sterling Morton -- including Culver City resident Wirt Morton -- will be in attendance.
Tito's Tacos is located at 11222 Washington Place.
PLEASE NOTE: The Actual Arbor Day tree planting will take place promptly at 8:30 am.
