The Online Community for Culver City – The New Scene
Tonight, the Culver City City Council announced the selection of Combined Properties to oversee the design and aesthetic of the 1-acre plot in the heart of downtown Culver City known as Parcel B. Ehrlich Architects of Culver City will be engaged as the architectural firm responsible for the design and aesthetic of the project.
This was my favorite of the four designs proposed, so personally I am extremely pleased. I am hopeful that this design will provide the retail and gathering space that will continue to make Culver City a great, welcoming place for an afternoon's or evening's entertainment for a wide variety of people.

Those roof parks struck me as being pretty isolated. Have you ever gone up to the top floor of the Ince Parking Structure? The view is great from up there, but it's a bit spooky.
But better than me saying why I like it, let's hear from Culver City Councilman Scott Malsin.
What did you like about this project? What made it better than the other three? One had parks on the roof (guess which was my fave)!
