Combined Properties Will Develop Parcel B in Downtown Culver City

Tonight, the Culver City City Council announced the selection of Combined Properties to oversee the design and aesthetic of the 1-acre plot in the heart of downtown Culver City known as Parcel B. Ehrlich Architects of Culver City will be engaged as the architectural firm responsible for the design and aesthetic of the project.

This was my favorite of the four designs proposed, so personally I am extremely pleased. I am hopeful that this design will provide the retail and gathering space that will continue to make Culver City a great, welcoming place for an afternoon's or evening's entertainment for a wide variety of people.

Comment by Scupine on December 6, 2011 at 10:48am: Those roof parks struck me as being pretty isolated. Have you ever gone up to the top floor of the Ince Parking Structure? The view is great from up there, but it's a bit spooky.

But better than me saying why I like it, let's hear from Culver City Councilman Scott Malsin.
