Celebrate the season at the annual Culver City Downtown Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration in Town Plaza next to the Culver Hotel at Culver Blvd. and Van Buren Place this Thursday, December 5, at 6 p.m.  

Santa Claus will make a special appearance, and local choruses will perform. Mayor Jeff Cooper and city council members are expected at the event -- and hot cider, hot cocoa and other festive treats will be served.  Culver City makes this holiday celebration “green” and energy efficient, lighting a 22-foot artificial Rocky Mountain pine tree with more than 7,500 LED lights.

The event is presented by the Downtown Business Association and the City of Culver City.
