Culver City Fire Department Offers Free CPR Training Thursday, June 2

Join the Culver City Fire Department for free sidewalk CPR event on Thursday, June 2, from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm at the Starbucks Coffee Courtyard at 9718 Washington Blvd. in downtown Culver City.

Can you spare 5 minutes to learn how to save someone’s life? Since 88% of cardiac arrests occur at home, the life you save with CPR is likely to be someone you know and love. Bystander CPR (hands-only) provided immediately after sudden cardiac arrest can up to triple a victim’s chance of survival, yet only 32% of cardiac arrest victims get CPR from a bystander. Many are concerned they might do something wrong, but the only way to make things worse is to do nothing at all.

Recommended for ages 5 to 95. The first 100 participants will be entered in a drawing to win a disaster kit for a family of four.

Classes start approximately every 5 minutes
