Culver City Presents Annual Tree Lighting Celebration

Celebrate the season of goodwill at the annual Downtown Culver City Lighting of the Holiday Tree Ceremony in Town Plaza next to the Culver Hotel at Culver Blvd. and Van Buren Place this Thursday, December 1, at 6 p.m.

Santa Claus will make a special appearance, and the Linwood E. Howe Elementary School Choir and the Culver City High School AVPA Chamber Singers will perform. Mayor O’Leary and city council members are also expected at the event. There will also be hot cider, hot cocoa and other festive treats to make everyone feel merry.  Culver City makes this holiday celebration “green” and energy efficient, lighting a 22-foot artificial tree with LED lights.

The event is presented by the Downtown Business Association, the City of Culver City and Culver City Redevelopment Agency.
