The 18th Annual Los Angeles Antiques, Art + Design Show takea place this week, October 9th-13th, at the new 3LABS Studio in Culver City. As in years past, the four-day show features more than 50 national and international exhibitors of decorative and fine art reflecting all design movements across the millennia, including American and European period furniture and decorative arts, important 20th-century modern design, cutting-edge 21st century art and design, tribal arts, Asian and African arts, and Native American arts.

The event kicks off on Wednesday, October 9th, at the annual Preview Party to benefit LACMA's Decorative Arts and Design Council, who will honor husband and wife team Annie Kelly and Tim Street-Porter with LACMA's prestigious Design Leadership Award. Tickets are now available for the Opening-Night Party, commencing with a Collector’s Preview Hour beginning at 6 pm, followed by a Cocktail Reception at 7 pm. All proceeds from the DADC’s fundraising efforts support LACMA’s Decorative Arts and Design department’s efforts to acquire significant works of art for LACMA’s permanent collection, support special exhibitions, and fund other departmental priorities.
