Culver City's Royal/T Will Close in August

LA Eater is reporting that Culver City's Royal/T Cafe will close in August. Too bad, since it could always been counted on to host interesting events -- like every Monday's Sad People Talking comedy show. Remember when it was fronted by the cool murals above?

Royal/T may not be gone for good, though. According to their press release: "Throughout the past 5 years in Culver City, Royal/T has always evolved by working with new artists, chefs, and brands. Although Royal/T's Culver City location will be closing after 5 amazing years, this moment marks an exciting time for an expansion on what Royal T has always done. Royal T will be announcing in the near future an upcoming series of roaming special events, exhibits, shows, brand partnerships, and pop-ups in Los Angeles and around the world, so please stay tuned."

Thanks for reporting, Justin. I hadn't heard this news anywhere else. Glad to hear Royal T will live on in some form -- I'll be sure to keep an eye out for their works in the future.
