The Online Community for Culver City – The New Scene
The Culver City Symphony Orchestra will present its opening concert of the 2011-12 Season this Saturday, November 12, at Veterans Memorial Auditorium. Admission and parking are free.
The concert will include:
Donizetti: Ah! Mes Ami, “The Daughter of the Regiment” (1840), featuring tenor Haqumai Sharpe
Elgar: Cello Concerto (1918-19), featuring cellist Stella Cho
Brahms: Symphony No. 1 (1876)
Entitled “Veterans Day Remembrance,” this concert honors the Men and Women of United States Armed Forces.
The Culver City Symphony Orchestra is in its 12 year performing in Culver City. Veteran's Memorial Auditorium is located at 4117 Overland Ave.
