Los Angeles-based artist Heather Gwen Martin's third solo exhibition at the Luis De Jesus Gallery, "Pattern Math," opens this Saturday, September 7, and runs through October 12. This exhibition follows her strong presentations in Rogue Wave 2013 and at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego and the Torrance Art Museum.

The opening reception - which is, as always, is free, open to the public, and sure to be a lot of fun - is Saturday, September 7, from 6 pm to 9 pm.

Here's what the gallery has to say about the new works: "...bold colors animate closely shifting hues and values; fluid, sinuous lines expand and contract in and out of intumescent shapes, bending space and creating precisely sculpted forms."
