The Online Community for Culver City – The New Scene
Every other Friday, I post a picture of something in Culver City that is 'hiding in plain sight.' Last week I asked: Do you know where in Culver City this doggy is?
Culver City Times member Maya Meinert was the first to correctly identify this little guy as gracing the sign for Citydog! Club at 3940 Higuera Street, where it meets Washington Blvd. Two other members -- Luis Lopez (naturally) and Narvo (again!) -- also correctly identified the dog, as did Liezl Estipona (sort of) on the Culver City Times Facebook page.
I have cats, not dogs, so I've never been inside myself, but Citydog! does seem to be a godsend for dog owners in Culver City. They have an indoor dog park (including a special separate section for toy-sized dogs) as well as a lounge area for owners to chill while their doggies do their thing. Your dog can stay overnight for $50 a night, which seems reasonable. Yelp ratings are almost universally 5-star. Anybody have any experience with this place themselves?
