News and Online Community for Culver City - The New Scene
Los Angeles-based artist Ken Gonzales-Day's first solo exhibition at the Luis De Jesus Gallery opens this Saturday, October 27, and runs through December 15. The opening reception - which is, as always, is free, open to the public, and sure to be a lot of fun - is Saturday, Oct. 27, from 6 pm to 9 pm.
Here's what the gallery has to say about the new exhibition: "These beautiful, sometimes haunting, images of the California landscape disrupt conventional readings of landscape photography through their depiction of sites that were part of California's little known history of lynching."
Luis De Jesus Gallery is located at 2685 S. La Cienega Blvd.
