The Online Community for Culver City – The New Scene
This summer, as always, Culver City is presenting a series of free concerts in the courtyard of Culver City City Hall. The 2012 2013 summer series offers rock, r&b, jazz, soul, and country acts on six consecutive Thursdays this July and August at 7:00 p.m. The festival is produced by Gary Mandell of Culver City’s Boulevard Music.
This Thursday, August 15, Led Zeppelin tribute band Led Zepagain will perform. Since Led Zepagain will be playing acoustic with string quartet, expect sweet versions of Zep accoustic favs like Bron-Yr-Aur Stomp, Going to California, Tangerine, Over the Hills and Far Away, Rain Song, Friends, and Gallows Pole. This performance should not fail to put a bustle in your hedgerow.

I did go. I enjoyed what I saw, then had dinner at Rush Street. Nice evening.
Wow. I missed the first set, but caught a couple songs of the 2nd one. Totally amazing. I really wonder how they compare to the real thing. I didn't get to see Jimmy Sakurai shred, but the band as a whole was tight. I'm hoping to catch an entire live set another time. They have all kinds of stuff up on YouTube but obviously it's just not the same. Were you able to go?
Haha. Led Zep is on stage...what year is it again?
Sounds suh-weeet! But dood you gotta update the year in your post. Threw me off for a sec; I was like, "How did I miss that last year?"
