Los Angeles Times Reviews Erin Cosgrove at Angles Gallery in Culver City

In his review in the Los Angeles Times, art reviewer David Pagel called Erin Cosgrove's portraits of America's founding fathers -- currently on display at Angles Gallery in Culver City -- "wickedly original." Pagel goes on to describe Cosgrove's bas-reliefs as depicting George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams and Abraham Lincoln as "humble dudes who have come back from the dead to find themselves in a world weirder and wackier than anything they experienced the first time around."

You can read the whole review HERE.

The works will be exhibited at Angles until October 27th. Angles Gallery is located at 2754 S La Cienega Blvd.

Cosgrove is a faculty member at West LA College, and judging by the comments ("She's amazing") on RateMyProfessors.com, she's a good one.
