Marriott Courtyard Westside Hotel Sold to Hersha Hospitality Trust


According to GlobeSt.com, Hersha Hospitality Trust of Philadelphia has signed a deal to acquire the 260-room Marriott Courtyard Westside in Culver City for $47.5 million. The property at 6333 Bristol Parkway, a familiar landmark to commuters on the 405.

 

Hersha Hospitality Trust is a self-advised Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) that owns interests in 78 hotels totaling 10,443 rooms, primarily located in major metro and urban centers along the Northeast Corridor of the United States as well as some in the western United States. The company expects to complete the acquisition during the second quarter. It will be Hersha's first hotel in the L.A. market.

 

Hersha's announcement regarding the deal called Culver City “an area that is home to a vibrant entertainment industry, a growing cultural district and a burgeoning employment center along with convenient transportation options.” 

Oh Hersha Hospitality Trust! Such a flatterer!
