Robert Standish Eyes Culver City: A New Mural at National and Washington, Includes Video

As part of the on-going, week-long spotlight on the Branded Arts Building mural project at Washington and National in Culver City, today we look at the new mural of psychedelic cats eyes painted by Los Angeles-based artist Robert Standish. According to the artist, the mural is meant to “symbolize the wisdom of seeing the world with eyes of gratitude and joy.” 

Here's a picture of the artist at work on the piece.

Standish is widely collected as a painter, and is justly renowned for his photo-realistic oils, including those below.
