New School of Cooking in Culver City Offers Classes for Amateurs and Professionals

The New School of Cooking in the Culver City Arts District is now offering two full-time professional programs -- in addition to its wide variety of seasonal classes for amateur cooking enthusiasts that focus on classic and ethic cuisines, baking and pastries, wines and knife skills.

For example, on Saturday the 24th, there's a class on chicken fundamentals as well as a pizza workshop. On September 7, there's a class on Basic Vegetarian Cooking and one on Grilling. These small classes tend to run about $80 - $90 apiece. Check out the school's CALENDAR, for more information about upcoming classes.

The full-time professional programs are Advanced Professional Culinary Arts and Advanced Professional Culinary Pastry Arts.

The New School of Cooking is located at 8690 Washington Blvd.
