New Show "All I Want Is a Picture of You" Opens at Angles Gallery in Culver City

Starting this Saturday night, July 14, Angles Gallery will present "All I Want is a Picture of You," a group exhibition of handmade portraits. The opening reception is from 6 pm to 8 pm, and, as always, the public is welcome. Angles Gallery is located at 2754 S La Cienega Blvd.

Quoth the press release: "The often fastidiously crafted drawings and paintings in "All I Want is a Picture of You" are creative responses to desire and memory. Reflecting the artists' personal engagements with a cherished, absent, or imagined other, the pictures illuminate an intimate world. These artworks offer portraits of emotional experience within a largely shared social sensibility, alternately poignant, gripping, sweet, and melancholy."

The exhibition continues through September 1.
