Since the start of the Sepulveda widening project on May 9, the contractor has demolished the medians and installed temporary paving and striping.  From May 23 until late June, the contractor will be working on curb, gutter and sidewalk replacement and pavement re-construction of the outside lanes. 

Since only one through-lane is open to traffic in each direction on Sepulveda Bl., the project is causing a lot of horrible traffic in both directions. But let's not forget that traffic was already pretty bad in this area, especially southbound.
