The Online Community for Culver City – The New Scene
The Corner Restaurant -- the new eatery in on Washington Boulevard in West Culver City, right across the street from Waterloo & City -- opens tonight, June 1, at 6:00 p.m. The restaurant's chef is Luke Reyes of The Tasting Kitchen on Abbot Kinney in Venice.
Here's a look at the MENU, which offers cider glazed wings, grilled cheese, burgers, steamed mussels, pan-roasted halibut and the like.
Says Grubstreet:
The chef tells Grub Street his simple aim is to "just use the best product possible and treat it with care," taking advantage of nearby markets and overseeing a changing roster of blackboard specials that will typically include a shareable plate for the communal table in the middle of the room, such as the pork loin with purple kale coming to opening night.
