Every other Friday, I post a picture of something in Culver City that is 'hiding in plain sight.' Two weeks ago I asked: Do you know where in Culver City this sign is?

Culver City Times member Kevin Lachoff was the first to correctly identify the location, saying "The sign sits atop 3927 Van Buren Place, behind the CCUSD offices / Linwood Howe." I managed to get this close-up of the sign while I was staying for a night at the Culver Hotel (in celebration of my wife and my second wedding anniversary).

Today, the Hotel West End appears to rent their rooms out on a weekly basis. Here's good pic of the front of the hotel:

You can see how close the Hotel West End is to downtown Culver City. There's the Pacific Theater and the Culver Hotel in the background.

According to a plaque, Hotel West End was erected in 1932

Kevin Lachoff also added a sentiment I agree with: "Maybe our City Historian has more colorful information on it."
