The Online Community for Culver City – The New Scene
Every other Friday, I post a picture of something in Culver City that is 'hiding in plain sight.' Two weeks ago I asked: Do you know where in Culver City this patriotic geometry is?
Culver CIty Times member Diane WIlliams entered the contest for the first time, correctly identifying it as the Tattle Tale Room at the corner of Sepulveda Blvd. and Sawtelle. (Jill S. Thomsen also correctly identified in the picture on the Culver CIty Times Facebook page, but that doesn't officially count as an entry.) The Tattle Tale is friendly old-school bar that offers karaoke every night of the week between 9 pm and 2 am. Their motto is "Enter as Strangers, Leave as Friends."
This picture that I took back in March is already out of date (there's a new Pho restaurant in there, and the aquarium got a spiffy new paint job) but you can see how the bar is situated.
