The Online Community for Culver City – The New Scene
Every other Friday, I post a picture of something in Culver City that is 'hiding in plain sight.' Last week I asked: Do you know where in Culver City this star-catcher is?
Three Culver City Times members -- Crystal Covington (first for the second straight week!) as well as 'Where Am I' stalwarts Luis Lopez and Narvo -- correctly identified the logo as belonging to the Exceptional Children's Foundation at 8740 Washington Blvd. Amazing!
Founded in 1946, the Exceptional Children's Foundation's mission is to provide the highest quality services for children and adults who are challenged with developmental, learning and emotional disabilities - empowering them to reach their greatest potential. The foundation provides programs and services to over 2,600 infants, youths, adults and their families each year -- and has helped tens of thousands of children and adults with special needs live with dignity, self-respect and happiness. Go HERE to find out more about the foundation or to donate.
