The June 3rd election is quickly approaching.  I have noticed the blue and white YES ON MEASURE CC signs on lawns around town.  However, I didn't see any signs in opposition.  I thought it odd.  Shortly, I received on my doorstep on two different days information about a NO VOTE ON MEASURE CC.  One sheet was paid for by HOMEOWNERS & VETERANS at risk of losing their homes.  The other was a multi-page handout with two web links but otherwise was anonymous.

I wanted to start the year off right, with a walk through my favorite town in Los Angeles,  Culver City.  Not much happening this morning most business closed for the holiday but a few were ready and open forcutomers..  As I walked I reflected on the end of another holiday season in Culver City.  The lights that were strung with care will be coming down all too soon in my mind.  I love the holiday lights and decorations that the residents put up annually so glad to see the holiday spirit…

Our son, now 18  has not trick or treated in many years but our memories are fond of taking him around in his costumes over the years.

We've seen the littlest, trick or treaters over the years, their first time.  So cute.  Kids and parents walking the steets of Culver Ctiy with goody bags filled with loots.

Very exciting stuff.  First off I love going to City Hall.  I always get a rush.

After seeing all  4 presentatons offered at tonight's meeting .  I think the question is:   Do you want to be in or  do you want to be out.?

If you want to be in you can go with the Tolkin Group's Culver X.  Which the materials to be used is in keeping with what is already on the buildings currently downtown, which I like however you go "into" this property.

Later on this morning I will drive to Santa Monica to partake in a charity walk.  I call it A WALK as it can not compare to THE WALK with the communities being so different Santa Monica vs. Culver City.  I'll report back with my findings.  My money is on CC.

Just returned from THE WALK which is a walk that I take around Culver City, roughly 2 miles at the minimum.  I realized that THE WALK is my Culver City secret that I do not share with anyone.  I get to enjoy our little city and listen to music.  Today's soundtrack random Sting 1998-2003.
