In anticipation of the arrival of the nine-story "Rainbow," which will soon tower about Sony Pictures Entertainment Studio in Culver City, here's a video of artist Tony Tasset at work installing another of his giant, iconic sculptures, "Eye."

In the video, artist Tony Tasset says something that is equally applicable to the new rainbow sculpture: "It's meant to be funny and weird, and it's one of those kinds of images that is so recognizable that I think people will project a lot of things onto it."

"Eye" was recently included on Flavorwire's list of "20 Bizzarre Works of Public Art from All Over the World."
