Local dulcimer player Leo Kretzne will be joined by Tull Glazener (a mountain dulcimer player from Indianapolis) and Sam Rizzetta (a hammered dulcimer player from Inglewood, West Virginia) for a concert this Saturday, October 5, at 6 p.m. at the Culver Palms United Methodist Church. Admission is $20, and the church is located at 4464 Sepulveda Blvd.
The concert will serve as the culmination of the annual Harvest Festival of Dulcimers, a day-long program of workshops for beginners, intermediate players and advanced players beginning at 9 am. Free jam sessions, open to all instruments at all performing levels, will take place at various locations on the church grounds.
There will also be a free concert at 11:30 a.m. in the church social hall featuring the Golden Strings, a youth dulcimer group from Norwalk.
