The Online Community for Culver City – The New Scene
Culver City's new Dunkin' Donuts -- located in the former Foster's Freeze location in West Washington -- is opening with some fanfare next Tuesday, August 11, at 5 a.m. The location will offer lounge-style seating inside and an outdoor patio as well as free Wi-Fi Internet access.
To celebrate the new location (at 13300 Washington Blvd., to be exact), the first person in line will receive free coffee for one year and the first 100 guests will receive a Dunkin’ Donuts tote bag packed with "special items." Free samples will be in the offing, and it's a rare opportunity to get your photo taken with Cuppy, the Dunkin' Donuts mascot. I'll bet it's a cup.
Dunkin' Donuts wants you to know that the new location is a DD Green Achievement restaurant, featuring energy- and water-saving features including atmospheric LED lights, high-performance windows and low-flow faucets. And that Tuesday morning's opening ribbon cutting ceremony will include a $1,000 check presentation to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, in alignment with the company's goal to support children’s health in local communities.
