Hugo Crosthwaite's Show Opens at Luis De Jesus gallery in Culver City

Artist Hugo Crosthwaite's new show,"Tijuanerias" opens at Luis De Jesus gallery in Culver City this Saturday, April 14. The opening reception is from 6 pm to 8 pm, and, as always, the event is free and open to the public.

The Huffington Post reviewed the show earlier this month, saying the show "combines the mythical and real dangers of his homeland [Tijuana], rendering it as a place of extreme transitions. His baroque cartoons combine Francisco Goya's 'Capricho's' with street art and graffiti iconography to create modern day nightmares." You can read the whole review here.

Luis De Jesus is located at 2685 S. La Cienega Boulevard.
