24 CCUSD Students to Square Off in District’s Annual Spelling Bee

Get ready to dust off those dictionaries because 24 of the best and brightest students in the Culver City Unified School District are getting ready to S-P-E-L-L their way to the top!



On February 2, four students from each of the district’s five elementary schools and Culver City Middle School will compete in CCUSD’s district-wide spelling bee at Linwood E. Howe Elementary School Cafetorium.

Culver City High School Student Named ABC7 Cool Kid for His Work With the Homeless

Niko Vlahakis, who shares his giving spirit with the homeless, was recently named an ABC7 Cool Kid.



“They think they're alone. I would like those people to feel like there are people who care and people who would love to see them get back on their feet and want to see them succeed,” Vlahakis said.
