Two Culver City non-profit organizations received California Community Foundation grant awards this June. Best Buddies California received $60,000, and Exceptional Children’s Foundation received $85,000 as part of the Human Development grants.

According to owner Jose Maceira (pictured below), Green Peas Restaurant on Sepulveda Boulevard in Culver City will re-open on June 27 or 28. The restaurant has been closed for months as Maceira expanded the restaurant's kitchen area and added a patio in the back of the restaurant.
