Shoes for the Homeless -- a non-profit organization founded by local podiatrist Ira Diamond that provides "gently used" and new shoes free of charge to the homeless -- has organized one of its semi-regular "shoe processing" date for today, Friday, July 13th from 4-5 pm. This Thursday the Culver City Orchestra will begin its summer-long series of outdoor concerts at Burton Chace Park in Marina del Rey with their presentation of "Opera at the Shore."
