Somewhat lost in the hubbub around the new Culver City Council members was the news that Culver City voters voted 'Yes' on the city's sole ballot measure, an initiative to raise the city's transient occupancy tax from 12 percent (effective since 1989) to 14 percent. The Metro Expo Line will open to the public on SATURDAY, APRIL 28th from 7th/Metro Station to La Cienega/Jefferson Station.
