Taking A WALK today

Later on this morning I will drive to Santa Monica to partake in a charity walk.  I call it A WALK as it can not compare to THE WALK with the communities being so different Santa Monica vs. Culver City.  I'll report back with my findings.  My money is on CC.

THE WALK

Just returned from THE WALK which is a walk that I take around Culver City, roughly 2 miles at the minimum.  I realized that THE WALK is my Culver City secret that I do not share with anyone.  I get to enjoy our little city and listen to music.  Today's soundtrack random Sting 1998-2003.

Get on Board:Stories of the Los Angeles to Houston Freedom Ride

I saw this exhibit in September when I visited Culver City's newest museum for the first time. Even if we didn't personally experience the enforced segregation and degradations of the Jim Crow-era South, most have seen a film, read a book, or witnessed the re-telling of accounts from that age.
